ASTORIA — Police released a sketch of a man they say stabbed a Woodside DJ during and altercation on Roosevelt Avenue on Saturday.

Cops said Isaac Martinez, 26, died early Saturday morning after being stabbed in the chest. The circumstances surrounding the killing weren't clear, but Martinez was reportedly stabbed by a livery cab driver, according to several news outlets.

Cops identified the suspect as male, between 5'3" and 5'8", weighing between 120 and 170 pounds, with dark hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Family described Martinez, originally from Mexico, as a music-lover who enjoyed exercise.

"He was a really great brother, a great father, a great son," said his sister, Eunice Martinez, 18, as she stood with her mother, Marta Celio, outside the Astoria apartment where her brother lived with the family, his girlfriend, and his almost 5-year-old son.

"We're in shock still," she said.
