
UPPER EAST SIDE — A man followed a woman into her East 91st Street apartment building and stole her keys before she managed to break free during a robbery earlier this month, police said.
The suspect followed the victim into the vestibule of her residence, covered her mouth and ordered her to the ground at 12:15 a.m. on July 7, the NYPD said.
The woman broke free and called for help, and the suspect fled with the woman's keys, police said.
The woman suffered minor injuries in the incident, officials said.
