MIDTOWN — Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed six banks, one with a gun, in Midtown and the Upper West Side over the last two months.

Andre Calix first struck on June 3 when he handed a note to a teller at a Capital One bank on Broadway between West 38th and West 39th streets, police said.

Calix, 31, then allegedly handed notes demanding money to tellers at two Sovereign Banks: the first on June 10 at Broadway and West 36th Street and then on June 15 at Broadway and West 72nd Street.

Next he targeted HSBC banks, robbing three so far in July, police said. In the first two robberies — at Amsterdam Avenue and West 96th Street on July 1 and Broadway and West 89th Street the next day — he allegedly used a note.

Then he pulled out a gun during his last robbery on July 8 at the HSBC at Park Avenue and East 47th Street, according to the NYPD.

Calix is described as 6-foot tall and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
