EAST VILLAGE — The East Village food scene is about to get even tastier.

The Halal Guys, known for drawing long lines to their food cart at 53rd Street and Sixth Avenue, announced that they will soon launch a new cart in the East Village.

"Keep an eye out for further details regarding the location," The Halal Guys posted on Facebook Tuesday afternoon. "We hope to see you there soon."

The Facebook announcement generated 372 likes and 45 comments in less than 24 hours from eager customers begging for more information and asking The Halal Guys to move to their neighborhoods as well.

The Halal Guys did not provide any details on exactly where and when the new East Village cart would open and did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

The popular food cart also recently opened a location on Thompson Avenue near 30th Street in Queens.
