
FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A man was hit by a train at Bowling Green Station Thursday afternoon, FDNY officials said.
The man, whose identity was not immediately released, stood on the platform at 1:51 p.m. when the southbound 5 train struck him, MTA spokeswoman, Marisa Baldeo said.
The 4 and 5 trains were held at the station for 15 minutes, she said.
The man sustained non-life threatening injuries to his face and was taken to Beth Israel Hospital, fire officials said.
