NEW YORK CITY — A jackknifed tractor-trailor on the Major Deegan Expressway prompted authorities to close all southbound lanes at 138th Street during Tuesday's morning rush-hour, according to the Office of Emergency Management and reports.
The truck spun around about 6:30 a.m. and blocked all southbound lanes, creating a traffic jam for miles, according to ABC Eyewitness News.
No one appeared to be injured in the accident, an FDNY spokeswoman said.
