THE BRONX — A 26-year-old man was gunned down at a Melrose intersection late Tuesday night, cops said.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was shot several times in the torso at the intersection of East 152nd Street and Westchester Avenue about 11:58 p.m., according to the NYPD.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, cops said.
The circumstances of the shooting remained unclear.
Police had not arrested the shooter as of Wednesday morning and said the investigation was ongoing.
