LOWER EAST SIDE — Level up while you knock 'em back.

A new nightlife venture on the Lower East Side will combine drinks and Latin food with video games, including the popular "War of Warcraft," documents show.

Gallery Bar, at 120 Orchard St., will soon become a restaurant and lounge called 4 Play Gaming, where gamers can grab a drink while trying their hand at cult multiplayer video games such as "Call of Duty" and "World of Warcraft," according to an application submitted to Community Board 3.

The applicant, listed as Willer Valerus, the bar's new owner, will appear before CB3's liquor license committee on June 17 to request a full liquor license.

The ground floor and basement level of Gallery Bar currently double as an art exhibition space for late-night revelers.

4 Play Gaming's liquor license application envisions a space that fits more than 250 people with two bar areas. Valerus is applying to stay open from 2 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday to Thursday, and 3 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday to Sunday.

The establishment plans to serve a menu of Latin food and will also be a venue for events that market new video games and products, according to the application.

Valerus could not be reached for comment, and Gallery Bar did not return a call and an email for comment.
