The cyclist, Marvin Ramirez, an East Harlem resident, was riding east on East 108th Street about 7:40 p.m. when a 2013 Dodge sedan heading north on Park Avenue struck him, according to the NYPD.

The crash left Ramirez lying on the street with severe head trauma, until medical crews rushed him to Harlem Hospital, police said.

The 36-year-old man who was driving the sedan at the time remained on the scene and was not arrested, cops said. The investigation was ongoing early Monday, police said.
