MANHATTAN — An elderly man was injured when he stumbled down a flight of stairs inside the Chambers Street Station and slammed the side of a waiting A train shortly before 10 a.m., officials said.
The man, whose identity and age were not immediately released, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.
The incident did not disrupt service, an MTA spokeswoman said.
