MIDTOWN — Midtown's going to the dogs.

Ellen DeGeneres' pet-food and animal-philanthropy company, Halo, Purely for Pets, is launching a pet lovers' pop-up shop called City Tails on Wednesday.

Located at 501 Lexington Ave. at 47th Street, City Tails will feature adoptable dogs and cats from local shelters, pet-agility demonstrations, pet-fashion runway shows, and appearances by "America's Vet," Dr. Marty Becker, Jilli, the poker-playing dog, and others.

"We're taking to the streets of New York to promote adoptable pets, give access to leading pet care experts, and give people an easy way to 'do good' for pets," Halo CEO Steve Marton said in a statement.

The shop will accept donations to the Halo Pet Foundation, which funds animal welfare and rescue groups. In addition, for every dollar customers spend on buying Halo pet food, City Tails sponsor FreeKibble.com will donate a meal to a New York animal shelter.

The store will be open through June 26.
