New York City — A 44-year-old Brooklyn man was found stabbed to death on a Bedford-Stuyvesant street in the middle of the afternoon on Tuesday, cops said.

Police responding to a 911 call arrived at 355 Kosicuszko Street — just across the street from P.S. 25 — and found the man lying on the ground with a knife would to his neck, police said.

The unidentified man was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Neighbors said that police are often called to the address and recently several arrests have been made there.

Still, residents expressed suprise by the violence.

"It's shocking," said one neighbor, a 44-year-old graphic artist who refused to give his name. "It's always crazy when someone loses their life, no matter what the circumstances."

The investigation is ongoing.
