ST. GEORGE — New York City’s first Dairy Queen is set to open at the St. George Terminal around Memorial Day.

Last year, the chain of ice cream restaurants announced plans to open up three to four locations in the city, starting with the ferry terminal location. The first opening was delayed by Hurricane Sandy, Grub Street reported.

"Hurricane Sandy kind of changed our plans for us,” a spokesperson told Grub Street.

The Staten Island location is already listed on DQ's website, which says it will also serve breakfast.

The second DQ will likely open up in Times Square, and the spokesperson told Grub Street they plan to open it in either late November or early December.
