NEW YORK CITY — A pair of burglars took at least two handguns and some ammunition after scaling a fire escape and breaking into an Inwood apartment, cops said.
The two suspects climbed into the Seaman Avenue home through a rear window between 8:45 and 9:20 p.m. on May 6 and snatched a .45 caliber handgun, a .357 magnum and several empty ammunition magazines, according to the NYPD.
Both suspects, a man and a woman, were wearing dark clothing, according to security footage released by police. The man is believed to be about 20-years-old, approximately 5-feet-10 inches, 170 pounds and was last seen carrying a bag.
