
NEW YORK CITY - Work on multiple subway lines is expected to disrupt weekend travel plans.
The 1, 4, A, F and N trains will skip stations along their routes beginning 11:45 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, according to the MTA.
The 1 train will run express on its downtown line from 34th Street to 14th Street and Chambers Street.
Woodlawn-bound 4 trains will skip stops at the 138 Street-Grand Concourse, 161st Street, 167th Street, 170th Street, Mount Eden Avenue and 176th Street stations. Riders will have to transfer to Manhattan-bound trains at the 149th Street-Concourse or Burnside Avenue stations to travel to these stations.
Downtown A trains will skip stations at 50th, 23rd and Spring streets. For service to 50th and 23rd streets, transfer to uptown A trains at the 42nd Street or 14th Street stations.
F trains heading to Jamaica will run express from Church Avenue until the Jay Street-MetroTech stop.
The N trains heading to Coney Island will skip 30th Avenue, Broadway, 36th and 29th avenues.
On the G line, trains will skip several stops beginning at 11 p.m. Friday. This includes the Bergen, Carroll, Smith-9th Streets, 4th Avenue-9th Street, 7th Avenue, 15th Street-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway stations. Take the F train as an alternative to reach these areas.
The E train will run on the F train line between Queens and Manhattan.
