EAST HARLEM — You may want to grab that old pogo stick out of your closet if you're planning to be in East Harlem this weekend.

The 6th Annual classic street games celebration is set to take place in Thomas Jefferson Park this Saturday. Street Games celebrates classic pastimes from the '60s and '70s like double-dutch, hula-hoops and yo-yos.

The event will start at 11 a.m. and run through 3 p.m. There will games for families and kids to take part in and performances from entertainers like the Dance Theater of Harlem.

Members of the New York Red Bulls will also host a skills challenge at Thomas Jefferson Park and there will be a soap box derby behind the main stage.

Thomas Jefferson Park is located at 1st Avenue and 114th Street. In case of rain the event will be moved to the Thomas Jefferson Recreation Center inside the park.
