REGO PARK — A 6-month-old girl was found dead inside a Queens apartment building Monday night, authorities said.
The girl was with family when she fell unconcious in the Queens Boulevard building near 62nd Street about 10:25 p.m., according to the NYPD.
The baby, whose identity was not immediately released, showed no visible signs of trauma but was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital Center and pronounced dead, police said.
It is unclear if there is any criminality involved in her death.
The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death and police said they are continuing to investigate.
