QUEENS — Two young girls were seriously hurt when they were hit by a vehicle in Ridgewood Tuesday evening, officials said.
The girls, who appeared to be under the age of 5, were hit about 6:50 p.m. at 70th Avenue and Forest Avenue, the FDNY said.
The children were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital Center in serious but stable condition, the FDNY said.
The vehicle remained at the scene, and the investigation was ongoing Tuesday evening, police said.
