MEATPACKING DISTRICT — Cops cordoned off a small street near Chelsea Market for about an hour Tuesday morning searching for a bomb that turned out only to be a paperweight, sources said.

Police raced to 448 W. 16th St. about 9:15 a.m. after receiving a call of a bomb on a loading dock in the shadow of the High Line, cops said.

The report was determined to be unfounded by 10:30 a.m., police said.

A UPS deliveryman at the scene said he saw a grenade with its pin still in, but sources said the object turned out only to be a paperweight.
