LONG ISLAND CITY — Talk about a meat medley.

Long Island City's Alewife NYC is celebrating New York Burger Week with a beer-and-burger dinner pairing that draws from all ends of the animal kingdom.

The event will offer diners a special tasting menu that pairs five creatively dressed burgers, made from five different types of meat, along with beers from five breweries.

Tickets for the May 7 dinner went on sale Thursday.

The five meats that make an appearance on the menu are veal, duck, bison, lamb and traditional ground beef.

The "Quack Attack" duck burger is topped with foie gras and pomegranate hoison, while the "Dee Snider" bison patty gets slathered with bacon, Sriracha, and peanut butter and jelly.

The gluttonous beef burger, meanwhile — dubbed the "Diabetic Coma" — is sandwiched between two glazed doughnuts.

The beer menu will feature brews from Barrier, De Ranke, Lagunitas, Sixpoint and Smuttynose.

Tickets are $45 each. The event is the grand finale for NY Burger Week, a series of burger-themed dinners and events around New York City that was launched last year by the blog Burger Conquest. Burger Week runs May 1 through May 7.
