MIDTOWN — Cops arrested a 44-year-old ex-con who allegedly burglarized three Midtown apartments since September, police said.

Donald McLaurin was taken into custody March 14, NYPD Inspector Timothy Beaudette, commander of the Midtown North Precinct, announced at the precinct's monthly community council meeting Tuesday.

McLaurin, who has used the name David as an alias, allegedly broke into an apartment on 58th Street in September, a second apartment on 48th Street in December, and a third home on 55th Street in January, police said.

He allegedly made off with off with laptops, handbags, jewelry and cash, court records show.

McLaurin's fingerprints were found at all three crime scenes, police said. He was charged with burglary — the latest in a long history of burglary accusations and convictions.

"He's been in and out of the system since 1992," a law enforcement source told DNAinfo.com New York.

McLaurin served jail time for burglaries in 1992, 1993, 1997 and 2006 the source said.

"He's been pretty consistent," the source stated.

McLaurin's longest sentence was seven years for the 1997 conviction.
