MIDTOWN — An alleged mugger stuck up a hapless pedestrian on West 47th Street and made off with the victim's phone, jewelry and cash, police said Friday.
With just his hand in his pocket mimicking a gun, the robber approached the victim in front of 28 W. 47th St. about 6:45 p.m. on December 21 and made a deadly threat, according to the NYPD.
"Give me everything or I'll shoot you," the suspect told the unidentified victim, cops said.
He then ran off the valuables in an unknown direction, police said.
The victim was not physically hurt, cops added.
Police described the alleged mugger as standing about 5-foot-9-inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, and in his 20s. He was last seen wearing a black ski cap and a grey winter vest.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
