MIDTOWN — A man was left critically injured after a vehicle slammed into him early Wednesday morning, FDNY said.
The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was standing near Sixth Avenue and West 55th Street about 1:45 a..m. when a vehicle struck him, a fire spokesman said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue where he was listed in critical condition, fire said.
The circumstances of the incident remain unclear.
