SOUNDVIEW — A 75-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Taylor and Soundview avenues Monday night, authorities said.
The man was unconscious and unresponsive when police arrived at the scene of the accident just before 8 p.m., the NYPD said.
He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and pronounced dead, cops said.
The victim's identity and the circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately available.
