QUEENS — Buffalo Wild Wings, the popular barbecue chain, is slated to open its Forest Hills location this summer, the restaurant confirmed.
“The target date right now is early part of July,” said Scott Lessl, senior regional marketing manager at Buffalo Wild Wings. The new location “will be consistent with what we deliver in all of our other restaurants,” Lessl noted.
The chain will set up shop at 107-16 71st Avenue — between Austin Street and Queens Boulevard — the former home of Staples. Staples closed in October last year, reportedly after its rent was increased.
Currently, Buffalo Wild Wings has only one location in Queens — at JFK Airport.
