RICHMOND HILL — A police officer who works in the Brooklyn courts was arrested Thursday for trying to shoplift from a Home Depot, cops said.

Mohammad Khan, 45, has been charged with menacing and petit larceny after he tried to smuggle merchandise out of the hardware store and threatened employees when confronted about it, according to the NYPD.
