LINCOLN CENTER — You’d think being married to a designer would give enough fashion exposure, but Jane Krakowski was thirsting for more.
Krakowski, who is married to Psycho Bunny menswear designer Robert Godley, hit the Lincoln Center tents for the KaufmanFranco show Monday.
“I haven’t been to a fashion event for a very long time because we’re always filming at crazy times,” said the “30 Rock” actress. “I was so excited for Ken and Isaac and, this being their first New York show, I wanted to come out and support them.”
But having a designer in the house does come in handy. “I do ask [my husband] his opinion, mostly on color combinations,” she said.
“He’s a genius at color. He’s always right. He definitely has great style too. I don’t think I could ever live up to his level of chic style.”
Currently on Broadway in “Picnic,” with Mare Winningham and Ellyn Burstein, actress Maggie Grace used her day off for fashionable purposes at KaufmanFranco.
“Monday we’re dark,” she said of her play, “so this is my day to go out and play and be girly. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.”
Carmen Electra wanted to switch her front row seat for the catwalk. “I’d love to be in the show,” the performer admitted, prior to the designer’s show that was a take on her upcoming reality show on the Style Network. In the meantime, Electra is tending to more important bits. “I’m getting ready for Oscar parties so I’m checking out everything,” she said.
Other celebs spotted include Molly Sims at Carolina Herrera; Uma Thurman, Gretchen Mol and Bernadette Peters at Donna Karan; Kevin and his wife Dani Jonas at Pamella Roland; Jessica Stam at Marc by Marc Jacobs; Ashley Greene at KaufmanFranco; Rosanna Arquette and Aviva Drescher at Betsey Johnson and Katherine Heigl at Reem Acra.
