HOWARD BEACH — A two-car crash on the Belt Parkway sent seven people to the hospital during rush hour Monday evening, fire officials said.
The crash occurred on the Belt Parkway near Exit 17, Cross Bay Boulevard, at 5:40 p.m., the FDNY said.
Seven occupants of the vehicles were rushed to Jamaica Hospital, three in serious condition and four with minor injuries, officials said.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, and an investigation was ongoing, police said.
