FLUSHING — Cops have arrested a Queens man they say exposed himself to two young girls earlier this week.

Dagoberto Amaya, 32, allegedly tried to spark a conversation with the two victims, 12 and 13, on Bowne Street Monday morning. That's when he exposed himself to them, police said.

The girls fled and were injured, cops said.

Amaya, of East Flushing, was arrested and charged with three counts of public lewdness and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The arrest comes are cops are still looking for a man who tried to lure two teenage girls into his Cadillac Escalade in Corona. On Jan. 25 about 7 a.m., the suspect tried to engage a 13-year-old girl and later chased her on foot, before she broke free of his grasp and fled, police said.

About 13 hours later, he tried to do the same to a 14-year-old girl, but she was also able to get away.

In an unrelated incident, a man sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl inside an Elmhurst Grocery Store last week. Police said the man touched the girl while she was in line at the checkout counter, then fled the store on Roosevelt Avenue and 97th Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
