QUEENS — A 44-year-old man was struck and killed by an SUV in Queens Wednesday evening, officials said.
Kenneth Cole, a Brooklyn resident, was crossing Linden Boulevard at East 69th Street about 6:30 p.m. when a 2006 Chevy TrailBlazer traveling west on Linden Boulevard slammed into him, police said.
Cole was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene, and police said no criminality was suspected.
