MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS — Cops are looking for two men they say mugged people in separate incidents last month.
The suspects were believed to have approached their first victim on Dec. 18 about 5 p.m. near 520 W. 123 St., according to the NYPD. One of the alleged muggers pulled a gun and robbed the unidentified victim before fleeing.
They took the victim's phone, headphones, cash and a necklace, cops said.
On Dec. 26 about 8:30 p.m. the two suspects approached another victim near 377 W. 125th St., where they mugged them in the same manner, running of with their coat, cops said.
In a surveillance photo released by the NYPD, one of the suspects appears to have long black hair pulled into a pony tail and was spotted wearing a black bubble jacket with blue jeans.
The other suspect, though mostly obscured, appears to have been wearing dark clothing and white sneakers.
Anyone with information about the incidents should submit a tip at NYPD Crime Stoppers or call 800-577-TIPS.
