MANHATTAN — A man famed for parading a pizza-loving goat through the streets of New York City has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman he met in Manhattan.

Cyrus Fakroddin, 51, was cuffed Wednesday in Union County, N.J., and accused of picking up a "physically and mentally incapacitated" 19-year-old woman at a nightclub, driving her in his van to his Summit, N.J., home and assaulting her, Union County First Assistant Prosecutor Albert Cernadas Jr. said in a statement.

Cernadas said Fakroddin met the woman early in the morning of Nov. 17. The victim told authorities she awoke with no memory of meeting Fakroddin or of traveling to his home.

The victim then contacted a friend and came back to New York, where she sought medical attention because she feared she had been assaulted.

Fakroddin told DNAinfo.com New York in June that he frequents the Village to talk with its residents and feed his leashed goat, Cocoa, plain slices from Joe's Pizza.

But police said at a community meeting that the attention attracted by the goat, who Fakroddin said slept inside his house, tied up traffic.

Fakroddin is being held in Union County Jail on $250,000 bail, according to the Union County prosecutor's office.
