Man Injured After Jumping From 1 Train at 145th Street Station, FDNY Says

HAMILTON HEIGHTS — A 25-year-old man was injured after he tried to leap from a moving 1 train onto a platform at the 145th Street station early Wednesday, FDNY and MTA officials said.

The victim was on the southbound train, which was pulling out of the station, when he tried to jump back onto the platform about 1:15 a.m., a transit official said.

The unidentified man was taken to Harlem Hospital Center about with trauma to his head, fire officials said.
