FLATLANDS — A fire broke out in a Brooklyn home Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
The fire started at 1187 E. 46th St. just before 2 p.m., the FDNY said.
No one was hurt, but firefighters were still battling the blaze more than hour after it started, the FDNY said.
A neighbor, who gave only her first name, Diana, said she saw smoke pouring out of the two-story home.
"I didn't see any fire — I just saw the black smoke coming out of the roof," she said, "and I yelled to my two children [that] the house across the street is burning."
