MEATPACKING DISTRICT — Talk about going to the dogs.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg's daughter and well-known equestrienne Georgina Bloomberg joined fellow dog lovers socialite Amanda Hearst, actress Rose McGowan, fashion scion Dylan Lauren, actress Ali Wentworth, "Survivor" star Jenna Morasca and more Tuesday night at the Humane Society of the United States' "To The Rescue" gala at SL nightclub.
The event had to be rescheduled because of Hurricane Sandy when the organization's voluteers and staff — the Animal Rescue Team — were mobilized to rescue animals that were stranded or abandoned. The funds raised at the gala will help pay for the group's year-round efforts.
