Man Robbed Flushing Home Depot at Gunpoint, Police Say

QUEENS — Police are looking for a man accused of robbing a Home Depot store at gunpoint in Flushing last month.

The suspect walked into the Home Depot at 131-35 Avery Ave. about 11:15 a.m. Nov. 17 and started pulling items off the shelves, police said.

When the suspect tried to leave the store without paying for the items, a Home Depot worker confronted him, and the suspect responded by pulling out a gun and fleeing with the stolen goods, police said.

Police described the suspect as a bald man, 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-2, weighing 200 pounds.
