CANARSIE — An NYPD traffic cop was arrested Tuesday for setting a car on fire and lying about it in a police report, officials said.

Quinnterri Brown, 33, was arrested in Canarsie's 69th Precinct and was charged with arson, grand larceny, conspiracy, insurance fraud and filing a false instrument, police said.

It was not immediately clear whom the car belonged to or when the alleged incident took place.
