STATEN ISLAND — A 33-year-old St. George man was gunned down three blocks from his home Thursday night, the NYPD reported.
Omar Fierros Pliego was shot in the torso at Winter and Westervelt avenues about 6:20 p.m., police said.
Fierros Pliego, who was wounded just a few blocks from his home, was rushed to Richmond County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is under investigation.
