Police Search for Group of Teen Robbers in Queens

OZONE PARK — Police are looking for a group of six teen robbers, two men and four women, who struck Ozone Park in back-to-back assaults.

In both incidents, the female suspects attacked the victims with mace, while the male suspects punched the victims and took their property, police said.

The group hit first about 10:45 p.m. Nov. 10, attacking a 40-year-old man in front of 84-15 Sutter Ave., police said.

They struck again a few hours later, about 1 a.m. Nov. 11, robbing a 20-year-old man in front of 97-28 21st St., police said.

Police identified one of the suspects as Justin Ortiz, 18, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Other suspects included a 17-to-20-year-old man and four 16-to-17-year-old women: one with blondish hair last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a black shirt; one last seen wearing a jean jacket; one last seen wearing a red and black jacket and blue jeans and riding a bicycle; and one wearing a black and grey jacket, blue jeans and tan or yellow boots.
