THROGS NECK — A fuel truck leaked some 40 gallons of fuel onto the Throgs Neck Expressway near Randall Avenue in The Bronx Wednesday night, fire officials said.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m., and no injuries were reported, a fire spokesman said.
But some units remained on the scene nearly an hour later helping to clean up the spill, which was confined mostly to the side of the road, he added.
It was not immediately clear what company was responsible for the truck or how the spill occurred.
