FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A construction worker may have broken his leg when he fell 10 feet from a ladder at 4 World Trade Center, an FDNY spokesman said.

Just after 9 a.m., emergency medical crews responded to Liberty St. and Trinity Pl., at the southeast side of the center, fire officials said.

Witnesses said the man was awake and talking.

The worker was transported to New York Downtown Hospital, officials said.

This is the latest in a slew of construction accidents over the past year that have plagued the World Trade Center site, including another injured worker, a fire and a crane which swung free and shattered some windows
