BROOKLYN — Russell Crowe is back in "Gladiator" form.
The Academy Award-winning actor was spotted looking buff in costume while filming his latest movie, "Noah," in Williamsburg Wednesday.
Crowe, along with co-stars Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson, have been filming the Old Testament tale in New York and Long Island, where crews have constructed a massive ark.
The Aussie actor has been tweeting about his workout regimen — including everything from weightlifting and bicycling to yoga — while shooting in the Big Apple.
"I'm 48, definitely feeling my age, but I have never been stronger," he wrote on Oct. 4. "My musculature is not fine or ripped, but it's real,Ark builders muscle."
The film from the award-winning "Black Swan" director uses the biblical story of Noah's Ark, in which the titular figure saves the world's animals from flooding after God decides destroy Earth due to mankind's sins.
"Noah" is set to arrive in theaters in spring 2014.
