Police Seek Gunpoint Robbers Who Stole Teens' Phones in The Bronx

THE BRONX — Police are looking for two suspects in a series of gunpoint cell phone robberies in The Bronx.

The duo struck first about 3:50 p.m. Sept. 24 in front of 839 Westchester Ave., where they held up a 14-year-old boy and snatched his phone, police said.

Then on Oct. 4, they are accused of grabbing an iPhone from a 15-year-old boy outside 160 Westchester Ave. about 3:40 p.m. and demanding an iPhone from another 15-year-old boy at Westchester Avenue and 160th Street about three hours later, police said.

The suspects displayed a gun during all the holdups, police said.
