BUSHWICK — A woman and two children were hit by a car on Moore Street on Friday afternoon, the FDNY said.

A male driver hit the trio, whose exact ages weren't immediately available, an FDNY spokesman said. They sustained injuries that weren't life-threatening and were taken by ambulance to Bellevue Hospital, the FDNY said.

NBC News reported that the driver was a 70-year-old man who hit the woman — a grandmother with her two toddler grandchildren — as he was backing up on Moore Street, witnesses told NBC.

Twenty bystanders help free the woman and children, who were in strollers, when they were briefly trapped by the car, NBC reported. They were listed in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital, according to NBC.
