LINCOLN SQUARE — Butter wouldn't melt in their mouths.
The red carpet for the premiere of "Butter" at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater brought a host of the movie's stars to the red carpet Thursday, including Jennifer Garner, Olivia Wilde, Alicia Silverstone, Ashley Greene, Ty Burrell, Rob Corddry.
The comedy stars Garner as the wife of the reigning Iowa state butter carving champion, played by Burrell. Upon his retirement, she steps up to compete, only to be threatened by a young upstart, played by Yara Shahidi, who has an innate talent for craft.
The story is said to be a satire of the 2008 democratic primary battle between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
The film opens in theaters October 18.
