LOWER EAST SIDE — A 64-year-old woman was struck by a taxi cab and critically injured near the FDR Drive Thursday morning, the NYPD said.

The unidentified woman was crossing South Street near Wagner Place shortly before 7 a.m. when the northbound yellow crashed into her, police said.

The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital Center, where she was in critical condition, officials said.

The driver remained at the scene and was not immediately charged, an NYPD spokesman said. Police said they were still investigating.
