BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a man who stabbed an MTA bus driver in the shoulder with a syringe in Windsor Terrace on Monday morning.

The 30-year-old driver was attacked while driving the bus near Prospect Park Southwest and Greenwood Avenue just before 11 a.m., police said.

The suspect, described as about 5-foot-9 and between 45 and 50 years old, stabbed the driver in the shoulder with a hypodermic syringe and then fled on foot. The driver was treated at Methodist Hospital and released.
