THE BRONX — A Soundview man was shot to death a few blocks from his home Friday evening, polices said.
Around 9 p.m., police responding to a 911 call of a man shot at 1491 Westchester Ave. discovered Victor Fortuna, 21, shot several times in the torso.
Fortuna, who lived nearby on Colgate Avenue, was taken by EMS to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
