MIDTOWN — A 74-year-old woman was struck by a truck and seriously hurt on West 58th Street Thursday afternoon, officials said.

The victim was hit just after 2 p.m. in front of 225 W. 58th St. between Seventh Avenue and Broadway, an FDNY spokesman said.

The woman was taken to New York Hospital in serious condition, the FDNY spokesman said.

Witnesses said the woman was trapped under the truck for about 15 minutes.

"In the beginning you just saw her feet. They were moving," said Ama Thomas, 22, who works nearby and raced outside upon hearing of the crash. "You saw crystal-clear that someone was struck."

Police said no criminality was suspected.
