Expanded WiFi Service Brings Faster Web Surfing to Lower Manhattan

LOWER MANHATTAN — Struggling to find an Internet sweet spot Downtown may now be a thing of the past.

The Downtown Alliance has partnered with law firm WilmerHale to expand WiFi coverage across lower Manhattan, meaning expanded service and faster web browsing throughout the area.

All 15 wireless locations have been upgraded thanks to the Downtown Alliance, which added several hot spots earlier this year, including at the graveyard at Trinity Church.

Those looking for a place to surf the web can get online at any one of the WiFi locations, including City Hall Park, Bowling Green, South Street Seaport, Stone Street and the Plaza at 7 World Trade Center, among others.
